| Castleton is situated at the centre of the Peak National Park on the A6187 (was A625), 16 miles from Sheffield and 29 miles from Manchester, within easy reach of the M1 and M6 motorways. A shuttle bus service from Edale Railway Station linking the Caverns and Castleton operates weekends and bank holidays throughout the year, along with a daily service from Sheffield to Castleton. |
