By Car: New Lanark is 1 mile south of Lanark and less than an hour from Glasgow (M74/A72) and Edinburgh (A70). From the south, the village is 30 mins from M74 Junction 13 By Train: The nearest train station is in Lanark (1 mile) where you can connect to Glasgow Central and Motherwell. A local bus serves the village hourly from the Tourist Information Centre. Inclusive rail/bus/attraction tickets are available at certain times. |
