By Road: The Colne Valley Railway is in North Essex close to the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire borders. It is 10 miles north of Braintree on the A1017 (formerly A604) and 2 miles north of the village of Sible Hedingham. By Public Transport: T he nearest mainline railway station is at Braintree, and a bus service to Castle Hedingham operates approximately hourly to Castle Hedingham from the town centre, Mondays to Saturdays. No Sunday Bus Service. |
