By Bus: A Zoo Safari Ticket on any First Badgerline/City Line bus into Bristol centre gives discounted bus travel/Zoo entry. Frequent services - 8 (508) and 9 (509) between City Centre, Redland, Temple Meads Station and the Zoo. Also 585/587. Open top bus ('Hop on and off') 1st April - 24th Sept - hourly, touring round the City. Discounts on dual Zoo/bus tickets. By Road: From the M5, take the A4018 via J17; A4 via J18, then follow brown elephant signs. These signs can also be followed from Bristol City Centre. From South Wales, use 2nd Severn Crossing (M4), take M49, then M5, J18 (A4). By Train: Bristol Temple Meads and take the 8 or 9 bus to the Zoo main entrance. |
