By car from the south - leave the M74 at Jct 4, then follow the M8 west through Glasgow. Leave the M8 at Jct 30 for the M898 and cross the Erskine Bridge (toll). Then take the A82 west away from Glasgow, towards Alexandria and Crianlarich. At the roundabout at the end of the dual carridgeway take the A811 towards Stirling. 8 miles later at the T-junction with the A809, turn left towards Drymen. About _ mile later turn left onto the B858, and the Buchanan Arms is on your right as you enter Drymen village. From Edinburgh - leave the M9 at Jct 10 and take the A84 towards Crianlarich and Loch Lomond. 3_ miles later, turn left onto the B8075 south towards Gargunnock. When you reach the A811, turn right and head west away from Stirling. Follow the A811 for about 16 miles, then turn right onto the B858 into Drymen. Follow the road straight ahead through Drymen, and the Buchanan Arms is on your left as you head out of Drymen along Main Street B858. By train - the hotel is 8 miles from Balloch station (about 20 minutes by taxi). Balloch station is 45 minutes from Glasgow Queen Street Station.
