Since at least 1540, guests to the house have enjoyed its unique hospitality.The Waveney House Hotel closed in 2001 and has since undergone extensive external and internal refurbishment.

Great care has been taken to preserve and re-discover the oak beams, inglenook fires, and all the original and unique features, which make this Grade I listed building so full of character and charm.
