The hotel comprises a 16th century weather boarded coaching inn, the Norton Ballroom and adjoining stone built Manor House with its magnificent galleried central staircase leading to the bedrooms.

Extensive work has been undertaken in the ballroom to expose and restore many original features, including the 16th century beams.
