Nestled by the banks of the River Tay, amid stunning scenery, sits Dunkeld.

You can almost feel the history in the atmosphere as you walk around.

The price includes dinner, bed and breakfast.

Breakfast is when you like it, within reason, and dinner starts at 19.30.

It's a four course Table d'Hote menu using the rich variety of fish, meat, game, fruit, vegetables, cheeses and traditional culinary traditions of Perthshire and Scotland.

In case you just want to relax closer to home, guests of The Pend can use the leisure club facilities of the nearby Hilton Dunkeld House Hotel at special discount rates.

Massage, beauty treatments, sunbed, etc are also available.

There are lovely walks by the River Tay and through the 199 acres of hotel grounds which also hosts 4x4 wheel driving, Europe's largest 12 bore shooting range, salmon fishing and mountain bike hire.
