Bridge Inn Map |
A charming hotel steeped in history, set in the historical town of Port Sunlight, within easy reach of Liverpool and Chester, and just 5 minutes from the M53.
The Bridge Inn has recently refurbished all bedrooms to a high standard, and facilities include a flat-screen TV with Freeview, an iron and ironing board in each room, and large en suite bathrooms.
There is a spacious dining room and bar, and the hotel also has meeting and function facilities for up to 60 people. The Grade II listed building was completed in 1906 in the style of an old English coaching inn.
It is surrounded by a further 900 Grade II listed houses built by William Hesketh Lever for his soap-factory workers.
The hotel was a temperance hotel until 1903 when the vote was cast and the sale of alcohol was allowed.
It still retains many of its original features and if you wish to see downstairs and the old servants quarters, the team will be happy to oblige.
