Ravenstone has original pitch pine ceilings and an open log fire in the residents' lounge, as well a large walled garden and free off-road parking.

The restaurant retains original stable fittings and serves traditional home-cooked cuisine, including a full English breakfast.

Diners can eat on the terrace or have a drink in the conservatory, both of which have stunning views.

The Lodge is 5 minutes' drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, 10 minutes from Keswick and Derwent Water and 30 minutes from Penrith and the M6 motorway.
