HMS Belfast served throughout the Second World War, playing a leading part in the destruction of the battle cruiser Scharnhorst, and also the Normandy Landings. In service with the Royal Navy until 1965, she was saved for the nation in 1971 as a unique reminder of Britain's naval heritage.

A free Audio guide and map are available to help you find your way around this huge and complex warship. Your tour will take you from HMS Belfast's Quarterdeck up to the top of her Bridge and all the way down through nine decks to her massive Boiler and Engine Rooms, well below the ship's waterline.

On your way, you will be able to see inside her triple 6-inch gun turrets; explore the heavily armoured Shell Rooms and Magazines and experience what life was like for her crew by visiting the cramped Messdecks, Officers' Cabins, Galley and Sick Bay.
