I am coming up to Alexandra Palace London Later this month and am concerned about walking back to my hotel after dark i will be travelling alone and have about 2 miles to walk not sure what time last bus leaves would appreciate some advice

Wood Green is not too bad. However, you should always be cautious when you walk in the dark.
There are nightbuses in London that run all night long.
Here are the buses leaving/going from/to Wodd Green:
