I'm Alessandro from Italy, and I'm new here.
I was planning a trip in may from Italy (Milan area) by London to St Bury Edmund.

Anyone can suggest me if there are some train to London Airport to St Bury ?
and How long is the travel?

And Which is the best Aerport to take on ?

Thank's in advance,

Hi Alessandro

Welcome to AboutBritain.com!
We are a friendly bunch here, so feel free to ask questions...

Regarding Bury St Edmunds:
Here is a link to our page all about Bury St Edmunds:
Bury St Edmunds

The closest airport to Bury St Edmunds is Stansted Airport - it is only 50 miles (80 km) away.

There is a not a direct train service from Stansted Airport to Bury St Edmunds - you would need to change trains at Cambridge - the journey would take about 2 hours.
Here is the train website I used to work this out:
The Trainline

It is possible to catch a bus from Stansted to Bury St Edmunds using National Express coaches - that journey will take over 3 hours.
National Express

If you wanted to hire a car, it would only take about an hour to drive from Stansted to Bury St Edmunds, but it depends if you want to drive in Britain!

If your flight from Milan doesn't go to Stansted, it's quite easy to get around London using trains or buses, so you'd be able to find an alternative route.

I hope this is helpful - if you want to know more, just let us know!
