From the Lake District and all it's magic, I am now loving living near to a huge amount of narrowboat and canal history. Gosh, Britain has an amazing waterway of canals and boats, most of which are still used regularly.
Anyone tried a narrowboat holiday?

I have read numerous articles about these holidays. they look great. I think it would be a fun way to see the countryside. As I prefer to travel alone, I have not seriously looked into it.

SO, EDBH, you should do it and tell us all about it [:D]

Always fancied a narrowboat holiday myself - but we've never done it.
