Sorry I didn't come back to tell you about our trip. We had a lovely time and enjoyed seeing London very much. Our hotel was very near Hyde Park, so spent some time walking around there. The first day, we bought a hop on hop off ticket and got off at Trafalgar Square. Just then, they were starting a walking tour, so we did that. Walked by some historic houses, some bronze artwork of the Queen, saw Clarence House, etc. We ended up at Buckingham Palace. Got another bus and went to Harrods and the British Museum.
The next day we saw the changing of the guard, Westminster Abbey, etc. with our tour group. Later that day, we rode the Eye. Time was rather short, so missed a lot of things, but we did enjoy what we got to see. We then went on to visit six other countries, ending in Paris. I wish we were younger, so we could go on many more trips to Europe. I am so glad I got to see some of your country!
