What does everyone think - is this a good thing? Or is Britain already too crowded? It's certainly one of the most densely populated countries on the planet right now. I don't think that I would worry too much about that, Quenton. There are a good many Countries around he globe whose population is a darn sight more dense that that in the U.K. When they say 'increased population', I am forced to wonder if they just mean legitimate immigrants or are they counting all the free-loaders who come in by various means - like underneath trucks or hiding in rail-wagons ?? And, I don't care what Country you might happen to discuss, I fail to see how every mile of coastline can be supervised 24/7. Also, I often wonder about private aviation - there are many smaller airfields in the U.K., as in many other Countries, where light 'planes could land with extra passengers.
