This is, primarily, aimed at Quenton but I'd be interested to know ii any other people on this site have the same problem.

When I finish writing a message, I like to look back at it [mainly to check for stuff-ups or things that I've omitted to mention] and, sometimes, I find that I would like to add one, or more, Smilies to the message.

The result is O.K. if I want to add it/them to the final line but, I find, if I want to add them to an earlier line, they still end up at the end of the final line.

Is there any reason why this should happen ?? Or is it only happening to me ??

I have often wondered the same thing, Ron.

We must learn to smile immediately

Speaking of smiley faces, where is everyone? Autumn is here and you have all hunkered down til spring? Everyone is in the UK with no internet connection?

I miss my daily AB fix. I can't take withdrawal Of course, I have not come up with a new post myself

Hi Ron,

It's just the way this version of the forums work. Anything you add goes on the end of your message rather than at the cursor position.

Best bet is either to add smilies as you go along - or cut and paste the smilie from the end to where you want it.

Yes, it's quiet isn't it Marie. Going to have to think of something to spice things up a bit!

Thank you, Quenton.

Christmas coming up - that should spice things up.

Shouldn't it ??
