How has the current exchange rate between the pound and your currency affected your plans to visit Britain?

Are you:

Hi Quenton. We will be going back to the UK for a 4 week vacation as we have for several years. I am very blessed in having my family back there so don't have hotel bills; and one sister lends me their spare car so vehicle rental isn't part of my budgeting either. The way that the varying currency exchange rate affects me is that my government pension from the UK was effectively doubled when I brought the money over here at 1GBP =$2 earlier last year. Now it is down to 1GBP = $1.40. so it is better to leave it over there unless i desperately need it here.
Pete

Q,
If the economy was decent...we would be on a plane so fast to the UK due to the exchange rate but...well need I go on?

sigh![:(]
