Just want to announce that we've upgraded the search box on AboutBritain.com: -
We're now using Google Custom Search to power the search functionality on the main site.
After careful testing, we're pleased to say it's producing higher quality results than our previous search system - and the index will be more up-to-date as well, so it will be easier to find all the new content we keep adding!
We get well over a thousand searches per day on the site - so using Google search technology is a big improvement for a lot of people.
