[:D]It's me...Tudor Rose [p] For some reason, my old 'handle' just wasn't working so lets see if this does any better. The e-mail has changed (the forum wouldn't let me use the old one 'cause I'm, basically, a new member). Gosh...does that mean I have to start over to get the 1000 stars???

Lochleven -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (23 Jan. 2005 23:43:30 )

Well, at least this topic popped up. This is so strange (don't go there, Anglo[6])...especially as I don't have five feet of snow to blame [sm=bouncy.gif] I may have to play with this a while so for once, I'll be a true mystery woman...nobody will know who I'm supposed to be at any given moment [;)]

What have you been taking Tudor?? Whatever it is, I want some. C'mon, spill the beans.[;)]

Lochleven -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (24 Jan. 2005 0:46:34 )

Well, right now it's pink champagne...altho my problems began before the bottle was uncorked [sm=propeller.gif] At this point I think my moniker will be Lochleven...cause that's the only name that is up-to-date and working. Thing is...I want the stars that go with Tudor Rose [p]

marie -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (24 Jan. 2005 0:54:36 )

Welcome Lockleven. Should we go through the whole spille about how wonderful the forum and how nice every one is [6] At least I have more stars than you[sm=rotfl.gif]

has anyone given you a reason why you were locked out?

Lochleven -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (24 Jan. 2005 1:02:40 )

Thanks, Marie. You make me feel so much better [6] Do you know, I have to log out as Tudor Rose and log in as Lochleven to even have the home page show an update time? Me thinketh our youngest son has A LOT to answer for [:(]

Yes, please welcome me as a new member of the forum. I want to read all the tawdle that the rest of us always print [sm=rotfl.gif]

eatdrinkbehappy -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (24 Jan. 2005 1:05:46 )

I think you should call yourself Loch Ness instead of Lochleven. It's bigger, more exciting, got a monster reputation and everyone wants to go there![:D] [:D]

Lochleven -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (24 Jan. 2005 1:09:23 )

Excellent, EDBH! I should have! Thing is, Lochleven was my original name for my first e-mail address (taken from that castle so associated with Mary, Queen of Scots) and to go to Loch Ness would necessitate a new password, new registration, and so forth. Still, it bears keeping in mind if this happens again.

Marie...the name is Lochleven, with an 'h'... not a 'k'. And yes...you do have more stars than me. See what cheating will get ya?? If you had just waited a week or so, you would have had ton o' stars without a problem [:)]

No answer from Quenton yet. I'm having the same problem that a few others have had...having to log-in each time. Just think of the havoc I can wreck with two names [sm=tapedshut.gif]

The actual hardest part is having to use a different password. For years I've used only one password for everything and now to have to change to something totally different is driving me nuts! Guess it best be written in the address book or this forum will end up with another new member...and it'll only be me [:)]

Hi Tudorleven,

Hopefully my email will sort you out - but it sounds like something's got corrupted over there.

Is everything working ok with your new login?

marie -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (24 Jan. 2005 2:15:35 )

The snow must have frozen my brain, or the spelling part. (actually that never did work[:(])

Lochleven, lochleven, etc...............

Papaumau -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (24 Jan. 2005 14:03:37 )

Lochleven or Tudor Rose or whoever......

I have terrific memories of that Loch Leven:

I used to live just fifteen miles from Kinross, ( alongside which Loch Leven is situated ), and I have a few super memories of fishing on the Loch and picnicking on the island you talk about. I even "winched" my wife there long before we were married, ( you foreigners can look up "winched" if you like [:D] ) !

The curious thing about Loch Leven used to be that it had it's own species of brown trout. They were broad in girth and powerful and yet they had the smallest heads and very fragile mouths so that a fly-angler had to very gentle with them when he or she was playing one.

Then the sods went and introduced rainbow trout to the Loch and the rainbows competed with the brownies for the fresh-water shrimp that made the Loch Leven trout pink of flesh and delicious to eat. The Loch Leven brownies are now falling in population and they are being bred and introduced to other Scottish lochs.

Hi and welcome to this glorious Forum, Lochleven. I am sure that you will be able to make some serious contributions to the general, and specific, knowledge of many of our Members.

Ya' just gotta to watch out for a joker whose name is Anglo.

I see that you have over ten messages, and one star, already. Well done. Welcome.

Papaumau -> RE: About Lochleven...our newest member (25 Jan. 2005 14:42:52 )
