In the heart of the city, this magnificent Cathedral has been a landmark for travellers for 900 years. The magnificent spire rises above the Cathedral coastline and has been used for centuries as a navigational aid.
Its treasures range from medieval stone carvings to world famous 20th Century works of art.
Special trails for children and regular exhibitions, talks, lunchtime and evening concerts. Open every day all year, admission is free and free guided tours are also available Monday to Saturday, morning and afternoon. Superb Cloisters Cafe and Shop and facilities for those with disabilities. Parking nearby in the city car and coach parks. Coach drop off directly outside the Cathedral.
Groups are welcome and can enjoy a free-flow visit or choose from a range of guided tours (Art, Architecture, Behind the Scenes and many more). Please book in advance.
