CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES GOES EAST
Brand new Asian-themed land opens for 2010 season

Explorers of all ages have lots of reasons to be excited this Easter, as Chessington World of Adventures uncovers its most ambitious family attraction ever on 27 March 2010 - an ancient and mythical Asian land called Wild Asia.

Deep in the heart of Surrey, explorers can navigate their way through the kingdom's fallen temples and ancient ruins. A clearing in the jungle invites adventurers to take on the KOBRA, an awesome new ride that spins through the air on a 90m track at a dizzying 43mph!

Further into the jungle, younger adventurers can go on a bumpy tour on the Jungle Bus, try their luck on the Tuk Tuk Turmoil Dodgems, and go jungle crazy in the Temple of Mayhem.

Also new is the Lorikeet Lagoon (walkthrough aviary), where the song of 70 rainbow lorikeets will lift the spirits of intrepid explorers. Guests can even hand feed nectar to these beautiful and friendly parrots.

David Smith, Chief Explorer at Chessington World of Adventures, says: "the new land has been carefully designed to give our guests an authentic Asian experience, so much so that visitors can even try our brand new insect pick 'n' mix in the Maharaja's Market - the cheese and bacon flavoured crickets are my favourite! We are very excited about 2010 and hope that the opening of Wild Asia will further establish us as Britain's Wildest Adventure!"

With exciting rides and rollercoasters, amazing animals and a SEA LIFE centre, Chessington really is Britain's Wildest Adventure!
