    Pony trekking, way marked trails, forest drives and an orienteering course, are all close by, or why not try the scenic 18 mile steam train journey from nearby Pickering, for an exciting way to see the countryside?

    One of Forest Holidays' 21 Caravan and Camping Sites, Spiers House is within easy driving distance of York, Scarborough's sandy beaches and the port of Whitby.

    New for 2008 - Select Plus Pitches that include a larger pitch, electric hook-up and hard-standing, picnic furniture, water connection and waste disposal. Available for £10.00 per night supplement.

    As part of our commitment to finding greener ways to run our business, the water at Spiers House is pre heated by solar panels and we are also collecting rainwater to use for flushing the toilets.
