Once again people have written about Saddleworth without appearing to know nothing about the area. Saddleworth Is ar AREA of several villages not one, they are Denshaw, Delph, Diggle, Uppermill, Greenfield and Grasscroft.

Diggle is one of the quieter villages in terms of trans-pennine traffic noise and pollution, it is situated in Saddleworth, traditionally a West Yorkshire community.
