Escape to Exmoor House, right in the heart of Exmoor National Park, for a really relaxing stay in Exmoor's highest village.

Our guest house is ideally placed for walking and cycling (both of which you can do right from our door)

If you feel like being less active, there is plenty else to do in the area, which has wonderful scenery, many pretty villages, plus historic houses and gardens to visit - to name just a few things.

Or you could just relax in our characterful guest sitting room with a book and a drink from the bar. In the colder months there's even a log fire.

Exmoor House is full of character. It was built as a tailor's shop and village reading room.

The bedrooms - some of which have views of Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor - have big comfy beds and are all individually designed. They are all en-suite, of course: some have a bath and others a shower. The accommodation is flexible: we have five rooms, most of which can be arranged as either double or twin-bedded.

At Exmoor House we have an excellent reputation for good food. Book one of our great-value dinner, bed and breakfast packages to find out why!

The menu changes each day and we're happy to cater for special dietary requirements as long as you let us know before your stay.

The dining room is also open to non-residents for dinner; advance booking is essential. Naturally, we have a good wine list, as well as a selection of local beers, Somerset ciders and other drinks.
If you're celebrating an anniversary, a birthday or another special occasion, or just want to spend some quality time with family and friends, you can book exclusive use of Exmoor House for a group of 10 - 12 people. Ask about our house party packages.
