Three Gables is located in the peaceful village of Shottisham, in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our location offers easy access to a network of footpaths taking you across farmland, forest and heath, with ample opportunities for bird-watching.
Deer roam freely in this area and can regularly be spotted grazing in the fields.
We are close to the River Deben and the attractive riverside town of Woodbridge. Sailing Courses are available at Woodbridge and Bawdsey.
Music lovers have easy access to the Snape Maltings International Concert Hall, home to the Pears-Britten Music School and annual Aldeburgh Festival.
For those with an interest in history, we are conveniently located for visits to Sutton Hoo Viking burial site, and also to Orford Castle.
A foot ferry at Bawdsey gives access to the seaside town of Felixstowe.
