The Rose Garden Barn at Holy Well Bar, is named after the rose-filled courtyard that its private entrance opens onto.
A sanctuary for those who wish to be alone in lush countryside, and who want a big TV too! A smartly converted old store house has a bedroom on the ground floor, all soaring beams and vaulted ceiling, with a coffee cream scheme, faux fur bed throw and a comfy sofa.
Through a latched door find a sweet, snug bathroom, with robes and Harding soaps. Up the little stairs to a galleried space (not for giants!) for a hamper of goodies and a fridge.
Breakfast is brought to you, the only sound is the little steam railway and birdsong, and you have your own terrace for sunny days. Breakfast includes a choice of organic and locally sourced fare, including eggs from the family chickens and freshly picked fruit and vegetables from the garden.
Ample parking is available adjacent to the courtyard.
There is also a flat-screen TV & wireless network for easy web surfing. In addition, there are tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, fridge and bath robes.
The bedroom is fitted with goose down pillows and Egyptian cotton linen. An iron and ironing board are available on request, as are non-allergenic pillows and spare blankets.
Dogs and children are very welcome and the room can accommodate one extra single bed or a travel cot. A non-smoking policy applies indoors.
You are on 400 acres of organic farm. It is very romantic!
