The Old Rectory is a beautiful 16th Century country house, occupying a wonderfully tranquil corner of the village and surrounded by peaceful gardens, lush farmland and imposing mountains.

Flanked by greenery on all sides, the house enjoys expansive views over a wide (often sheep-filled!) meadow and overlooks the lazily meandering River Usk.

A substantial family house steeped in history and full of lovely period touches; in the Old Rectory we like to think we offer our guests a warm and welcoming home away from home, with just a touch of distinction.

Whether you are looking for somewhere to stay for just one night, a weekend break, or an extended touring holiday of Wales, we look forward to welcoming you.

Pricing and Opening Times
Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

£35 per person, per night, to include your choice of full English or Continental breakfast.

There is no supplemental charge for single occupancy.


The Old Rectory is open all year round, indeed many outdoor enthusiasts, consider that Wales is best experienced during the months of Autumn and Winter.
Having said that, we are at our busiest during the Summer months and advance booking during this time is highly recommended. Check in from 3pm. Check out by 11am.
