Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in the picturesque village of Northend, nestled at the foot of the Burton Dassett Hills in South Warwickshire.
Bed and Continental Breakfast is available, in the converted stable at the rear of the 17th Century Farmhouse.
Northend is the proud winner of the Best Kept Village in Warwickshire 2005 and has an excellent village pub, popular with locals and visitors alike.
From the village you can head off on some superb country walks, with stunning views of surrounding countryside.
Located just a few minutes from Junction 12 of the M40,
The Stables is a convenient base for Stratford on Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Banbury and The Cotswolds.
The stable accommodation comprises a large double-bedded room, with en-suite shower facility. The bedroom has a beautiful natural Travertine stone floor, whilst the en-suite is tiled with non-slip porcelain tiles, made cosy with under floor heating.
The fridge is stocked daily with fresh ingredients, to enable you to make your own leisurely breakfast to be taken indoors, or enjoyed outdoors in the pretty country garden on sunny days.
For your comfort the following are provided:
* TV/DVD
* Hair dryer
* Fridge
* Toaster
* Complimentary Fair Trade tea and coffee
* Ironing facility on request
* Quality furnishings and bed linen
* Off road parking
* Non smoking environment
* No pets (friendly farmhouse cat provided)
The Red Lion is our popular village pub, providing excellent freshly prepared meals in the bar or in its restaurant.
Nearby villages also host some remarkable eating establishments with varied menus.
For an even greater choice of dining, take a leisurely drive into Stratford, Warwick or the fashionable Leamington Spa, for a pre theatre meal or romantic dinner for two.
Northend has a wealth of pathways and roadways that connect with public footpaths between the villages. Paths from the village lead up to the hills to the nearby hamlet of Burton Dassett, where stands an early 12th Century church, which overlooks the site of the early village of Southend - no longer in existence.
Burton Dassett Church was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as an Anglo Saxon building.
Overlooking the village of Northend is an old stone beacon and the site of a former wooden windmill, which served local farms until the mid 1900s.
