    Welcome to Ty Gwyn - a charming Grade II period home, just a few minutes stroll from the centre of Crickhowell; a picturesque market town located in the Eastern Brecon Beacons and surrounded by stunning scenery.

    Crickhowell is renowned for its excellent choice of pubs and restaurants - all within easy walking distance of Ty Gwyn.

    Ty Gwyn, Welsh for White House, was built in the late 18th century. Reputedly the home for a while of the Regency Architect John Nash, Ty Gwyn retains a number of its original features and boasts large spacious rooms - all en-suite and recently refurbished to a high standard.

    There's ample safe parking in the private driveway and extensive grounds, patio area and even our own stream for guests to enjoy!

    On arrival, guests can relax with complimentary refreshments and homemade cakes.

    As Pete and Sue are locals - Sue is also a qualified Tour Guide; if you have any questions about where to go and what to see, they would be happy to help you plan your stay.

    Whether it's suggesting walks from Ty Gwyn; Cycle rides; where to dine or visiting the World Heritage Site at Blaenavon - only 10 miles away.

    A full Welsh breakfast using local and homemade produce, will set you up for the day! Packed lunches are also available.
