    Barn Cottage Bed & Breakfast offers very comfortable, spacious accommodation, with wonderful far reaching rural views, peace and quiet and warm personal attention.

    We offer the choice of two charming and luxurious en-suite bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with twin beds; we also offer both these rooms for single occupancy.

    The en-suite family room has one double and one small single bed (and / or cot if required).

    Both centrally heated rooms have sunny South facing aspects, with panoramic views over the Dorset, Devon and Somerset hills.

    Both rooms are very comfortably equipped, with a lovely hospitality tray including chilled filtered water and fresh milk, colour TV, radio alarm, hairdryer, loads of books, magazines and DVD's and binoculars. There is free Wi Fi access in the house.


    The luxurious en-suite bathrooms have a large quadrant shower, soft fluffy towels and lots of nice little pots and potions.

    We love our food at Barn Cottage and offer you a hearty, well cooked breakfast, using mostly local and organic ingredients.
    A wide range of "alternative" breakfasts is also happily offered. Have you a favourite? We will cook it for you!

    Vegetarian and special diets can easily be catered for with prior notice.
    We now offer PACKED LUNCHES and a LIGHT PLATED SUPPER.

    Woolminstone is a hamlet, centrally situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the Monarch and Liberty Walks.

    We are happy to collect and drop off along these "Walks"; more dogs, escaped cows, walkers, horses and tractors pass the end of our drive than cars!

    Barn Cottage in the hamlet of Woolminstone, about 2 miles south of CREWKERNE along the B3165, off the A30 at Crewkerne.

    We are about ½ hour along the B3165 (The Old Lyme Regis Road) to the World Heritage Coastline "The Jurassic Coast" at Lyme Bay, West Bay, Burton Bradstock, Beer, and the beautiful South West Coastal Pathway.

    We are also about ½ hour from Yeovil, Westland's, Street (Clarks Village) Glastonbury and many beautiful Ham Stone Villages and N T properties.

    We really are ideally and centrally situated for touring, walking, golf, riding, an over night stop, and a comfortable safe business base.

    We provide safe off road parking and secure parking for all bikes. And we are happy to provide washing / drying facilities should the weather turn nasty!

    King en-suite for two: = £60.00.
    King as Family (3) = £70.00- £75.00
    King as Single = £40.00
    Twin en-suite for two: = £55.00.
    Twin as Single = £35.00

    Directions from Crewkerne:
    At junction at the end of in Market Street by Woolworth's, (now boarded up, ah!) follow sign A30 CHARD and then turn IMMEDIATELY left up Hermitage Street (by the Take Away shop). Signed "Lyme Regis B3165".
    (If you miss this junction, just do the one way system again)
    Drive south out of Crewkerne up past the school, continuing along B3165 for about a mile and half, looking for finger post (on left) "WOOLMINSTONE" pointing up lane (on right)past white painted house.
    Go up the lane, crossing the over the stream, then railway line, look for first cluster of houses .
    Immediately after "HAY BARN" driveway take next drive left and then curve round to the right.
    Welcome to Barn Cottage.
