    A highly recommended three star accommodation with both rooms having sea views over the Bay of Borth-Y-Gest and the coastline of Harlech and its Castle.

    Within easy walking distance to Porthmadog and Portmierion Village is only two miles away; both the Ffestiniog and the Welsh Highland Steam railways start their journeys from this picturesque Victorian harbour town.

    The Snowdonia region is described by the Rough Guides as 'the most dramatic and alluring region in Wales'. It is the land of Celtic culture, castles, myths and legends, with some of the most stunning scenery imaginable.

    If you're also looking for activities, then this is the destination for you; cycle or walk along the ever popular designated routes, admire the scenic environment on horseback, or try quad biking for fun and excitement.

    With a varied coastline and inland waterways, a range of water sports are on offer from sailing and canoeing to skiing and wind surfing.

    Directions
    Getting to Borth-y-Gest could not be easier:
    With improved road networks travel time has been greatly reduced. From most major motorway networks you can access North Wales from either Birmingham / Shrewsbury , Queensferry / Merseyside ( via Mersey tunnels ) , Chester / Wrexham and from mid Wales and the M4 motorway.
    Once in Porthmadog look for main post office:
    Turn up by the post office and carry on up the hill to the top, then follow the road to the left dropping down into the village of Borth-Y-Gest.
    Once in Borth-Y-Gest we are the eighth house past the village garage on your right, on the bay front.
