Glebe Cottage is a small private bed and breakfast in Morval, 2 miles from Looe, in the heart of the country but only minutes away from the sea, on the edge of the Morval Estate. Cromwell was reputed to have stayed in Morval House!
There are only two rooms let and we strive to make it a very personal get away, like visiting friends. The rooms have lovely views over the gardens where you can watch the wild life, including pheasants, nut hatches, blue tits, chaffinches, wood peckers and lamas in the distance in the field beyond.
The bathrooms are newly fitted with marble floor and walls and large shower, toilet and sink.
Glebe Cottage caters for those that wish a quiet peaceful bed and breakfast with beautiful views of the countryside and the wildlife around.
We are 2.5 miles from the extremely pretty, historic fishing port of Looe with it's two rivers, woods, lovely beaches, speciality shops, Olde Worlde pubs and restaurants, some of which are undoubtedly among the best in Cornwall.
Seaton, Downderry, Polperro, Polruan and Fowey all of which are very worthy of exploring are just a short drive/ferry ride away and of course the unmissable Eden Project is only 20 miles away on the outskirts of St. Austell.
The historic fishing ports of Looe and Polperro with their beautiful stretches of coastal path, pubs restaurants and speciality shops are a short drive away.(Looe 2.5 miles, Polperro 7 miles)

Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park is about a 30 minute drive and has free entrance to the gardens and parklands which over look Drakes Island and Plymouth. You can get the Cremyll Ferry from here to Plymouth and explore Plymouth on foot, also The Edgcumbe Arms is famous for it's Sunday Roasts.
