    Chestnut House is a fine Cotswold family house, set in an attractive garden in the pretty Village of Hannington, amidst beautiful countryside with stunning views towards Burford in the distance.

    The house is situated some 4 miles from the centre of Swindon, with its regular train services to London and the West and also within easy reach of the Market towns of Highworth, Marlborough, Cirencester, Burford, Cheltenham and Newbury.

    The Cotswold Wildlife Park and The Cotswold Water Park are close by and boating is available on the Thames starting at Lechlade and working East.


    Liz and Francis Gradidge have just moved from Scotland, where they ran a very successful B&B at Ruthven House in the Scottish Borders and where Liz was chosen as the A A Landlady Of The Year 2005.

    Work has just been completed on Chestnut House to bring it up to the standard that Liz expects for a B&B and we are confident that you will find a comfortable homely and peaceful venue for your stay.
