Idler's Cottage is a delightful spacious hideaway, with its own patio set in the garden out of view of the main house.
Idler's is a great place to unwind, with en-suite, TV, radio, tea/coffee and cosy wood burner on cold winter nights.
Breakfast, which includes home-laid eggs (hens willing), is served in your cottage.
Idler's is just a gentle 3 minute walk to local village shops, pubs and deli-cafe.
The village of South Petherton, is just off the A303, which provides easy access to the towns of Taunton(25 minutes), Yeovil(20mins), the beautiful georgian city of Bath(60min)and Sherborne (30 mins).

Forde Abbey - Medieval monastery with stunning gardens.
Montacute House - Magnificent Elizabethan house, with portrait gallery, garden and park,(15 min).
Barrington Court - Tudor manor with beautiful Jekyll inspired gardens, and many more.(10 mins)
Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast(approx 40 minutes).
Sherborne Abbey and castle (as well as its beautiful individual shops)(30 mins).

| From A303: If you are travelling Northwards on A303; the South Petherton roundabout is the first one after the A358. If driving to South on A303, the South Petherton roundabout is roundabout after the A3088 turnoff. Turn off at South Petherton roundabout. Travel over 2 mini-roundabouts. After 2nd mini-roundabout take 2nd left into Roundwell Street. After 50 metres, number 12 is a thatched house on the left. Turn left into the gravel driveway. (Double garage doors green at end of drive) |
