An AA Four Star, highly commended, licensed Guest House, now rated within the Top 10% of 4 star guest houses in the UK.
All rooms are fully en-suite with above average room facilities, including a refrigerator for fresh milk, supplied daily, mini bar and soft drinks, 100% Egyptian Cotton Linen and Towelling of the highest quality.
Local glossy county magazines for guests to read and get to know the area; guests comfort and enjoyment of their stay is of paramount importance to us, say Graham and Shell, the owners of Bees Knees Guest House. "We want guests to really enjoy their stay and come back time and time again."
All our foods are locally sourced, seasonal and organic where possible and our meats are either traditional or rare breeds.
We shop daily for local ingredients, therefore we can offer our guests good food with less food miles and provenance.
We make all our own sausages, smoke our own fish and make our own bread and preserves. We offer guests a set Three Course evening meal and cater for people with special dietary requirements.
We have a separate guest lounge where guests can relax and unwind and a conservatory dining room, which overlooks the garden.
Parking is available at the front of the property.
Sorry no children under the age of 18. Sorry no pets except guide dogs as we have two cats, Ollie and Mr Kipps.
Our nearest tourist destinations are, Compton Acres Gardens, Bowlplex, ten pin bowling alley, Brownsea Island, Sandbanks and it's famous penninsular. Tower Park Leisure complex including Splashdown, Bournemouth & Poole.
We are situated in a quiet suburb of Poole known as Branksome, about half way between Bournemouth beaches and Poole Town Centre.

| Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. Low season rates: £37.50 per person per night, based on two people sharing and £43.00 single occupancy. High season rates: £40.00 per person per night, based on two people sharing and £45.50 single occupancy. We are open all year round, except some time over Christmas. We are very accessible from the M27, M3, M4, M25 motorways: Branksome Railway station: Is only an eight minute walk away and has links direct to Waterloo and Victoria. National Express Coaches Pick up and drop off from the top of our road, or at Poole central railway station. Fantastic local bus service: Which runs buses into Poole and Bournemouth every three minutes in peak season; there's also a free bus service to Bournemouth University Talbot Campus. |
