You are guaranteed a warm welcome from your hosts when you arrive for your stay; greeted by complimentary tea, coffee, home cooked biscuits, cakes or a glass of homemade wine.
We also have a small, child friendly dog named Buttons, who has a lovely temperament and enjoys the company of people.
For those falling in love with Llais Edw and not wanting to stray far, we can offer a traditional afternoon tea for an additional charge; this includes sandwiches, a wide variety of cakes and tea or coffee.
All of our produce is locally sourced for your inclusive breakfast; our eggs are free-range, the black pudding, sausages and bacon are all produced in Hay-on-Wye.
We support fair-trade and are eco-friendly.
If you are adventurous and want to explore, we can provide you with a good quality and enjoyable freshly packed lunch at a reasonable cost.
For cyclists we provide a safe place to keep bikes.
Our friendly, country bed and breakfast is located just five miles from the Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells and offers the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, Mewla National Rally, antiques fairs, and many other events.
If you venture into Builth Wells itself, you will find a pretty town to explore and beautiful river walks through the town's park.
We are only fourteen miles from the famous little book town of Hay-on-Wye, which every year celebrates the Hay festival in May and June attracting many tourists.
Sixteen miles away you will find Brecon, which attracts many people to the annual Brecon Jazz Festival in August.
Llais Edw is perfect for your short break or holiday, set among the beautiful landscape of Mid Wales providing many opportunities to cyclists, walkers, canoeists and fishermen.
Whether you come here for a peaceful retreat or for outdoor activities, we provide twin (no single supplement), or single rooms which all offer their own bathrooms (the twin room has a Victorian slipper bath).
Just two minutes walk along the river side lane, you will find a small friendly traditional pub, which offers bar meals, three course meals and a wide range of ales.
If you require an evening meal whether a bar snack or a sit down three course meal, The Seven Stars pub offers this and many types of ale.
All of this coupled with a first-class hearty breakfast, is guaranteed to satisfy you, with an unforgettable stay here in Mid Wales.
