    The Drift Barn is a small family run Bed & Breakfast, ideally situated in the heart of the small village of Elton near Chester.

    The village is located convieniently, just off the M56 and M53, giving access to the historic city of Chester within 15 minutes, and is also only half an hour from both Liverpool and Manchester.

    The Barn is a self contained unit that enables our guests to feel free to come and go as they please, with their own front door key!

    Guest are free to use the lounge and dining areas as they wish.

    All rooms are en-suite and have all the usual guest's facilities.

    Close by, along the A5117 we have the 'Cheshire Oaks' designer outlet, and the famous 'Chester Zoo' is but a 10 minute drive.

    The city of Liverpool is 30 minutes away, with its special maritime and musical history and the new 'Liverpool One' shopping experience.

    Chester's historical town centre of Tudor timbered buildings and Roman walls is ofcourse a definite place to visit.

    The Barn is also a convenient place to stay when visiting the races.

    The area also now benefits from less that an hours journey time to Snowdonia and is within easy reach of the North Welsh Coast, along the A55 and up onto the Wirral.

    The Drift Barn has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, giving you that home from home feel, but with a professional and polite service.

    We endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible and will always do our best to meet any of your additional needs and requirements, wherever we can.

    Directions
    From the M6 use the M56 J14,turning right signed 'Chester Zoo':
    At the traffic lights turn right into Elton Village.
    Continue through the village, past the parade of shops.
    The Drift Barn is at Laurel Farm on the left hand side, before the Wheelwrights Arms.

    From the M53 South use J9 Signed Cheshire Oaks/Ellesmere Port:
    Take second exit A5117 towards M56/Frodsham/Elton.
    At the Traffic lights go straight ahead.
    Take the first left into School Lane.
    At the end of the road turn right and the Drift Barn is at Laurel Farm, just after the Wheelwrights Arms.
