    Buttermilk is located in the village of Ladywood, with extensive views over the picturesque Salwarpe and Severn valleys. Situated close to Droitwich and Worcester, but maintaining an air of tranquillity, so welcome after a busy day of sight seeing or business.

    Buttermilk provides the ideal base for visiting many historic sites and cultural events in the West Midlands and Marches.

    We are close to the Faithful City of Worcester and within easy reach of Gloucester and Hereford (for the Three Choirs Festival), and Cheltenham (for the races!).

    Buttermilk is in the heart of the countryside that so inspired the music of Elgar and Vaughan Williams, the plays of Shakespeare, the Shire in J R R Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and the poetry of A E Houseman.

    Our en-suite guest rooms are of a high standard, with disabled facilities.

    Directions
    From junction 6 M5:
    Take the A4538 towards Droitwich. After 2 miles turn left at traffic lights onto the A38. After 300 yards turn right into Church Lane, signposted Ladywood. After 200 yards bear right at the junction onto Strand Lane. Continue for 1/2 mile and turn right at 'T' junction onto Ladywood Road. NB: We are 600 yds on the right as you approach a sharp left hand bend.

    From Worcester (city centre):
    Take the A38 towards Droitwich for about 4 miles. As you enter Fernhill Heath, look out for a recreation ground on your left. Take the next turning left into Station Road (signposted Ladywood) Buttermilk is 1 1/2 miles. We are on the right just as you approach a sharp left hand bend.
