Rod and Linda Lawson extend a warm welcome to all and invite guests to share the comfort and relaxed, friendly atmosphere of their family home.
Oakbank is unique, nestled in over an acre of gardens in the Scottish countryside, with large relaxing neutral contemporary rooms; it boasts expansive views over rolling hills - an ideal place to make your home whilst visiting the area.
Oakbank is well appointed, situated only a 15-minute drive from the historic medieval town of St Andrews, boasting the oldest Scottish University, world famous golf courses, ancient cathedral and castle ruins.
This area is also the home of the East Neuk's quaint fishing villages and award winning beaches.
It's a great central location in which to explore Fife, Tayside, Angus and Perthshire's attractions.
The cottage is situated in a well-appointed garden, with expansive views over rolling farmland.
Oakbank typifies country living with a contemporary feel, offering a most comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Guests are welcome to make use of all our facilities, whether that be relaxing in the garden/summerhouse, sitting reading in the conservatory, enjoying a drink on the decking, or taking a dip in the hot tub.
There is ample off-road parking provided.
We have 2 double rooms; one en-suite and one with shared facilities; both rooms are large and modern, with neutral décor for a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Each room has a sofa, desk and chair provided for your use and convenience; also a flat-screen LCD television, SKY, DVD, Wireless Internet, hair-dryer, clock/radio, electrical adaptor, luxury towels and dressing gowns (for the hot tub), complimentary toiletries and hospitality tray. Use of an iron and ironing board is available, if required.
Full Scottish breakfast, cereal, fruit juice, etc. will be served in the conservatory, overlooking the stunning countryside, between 7.45am - 8.30am, unless arranged otherwise.
In the interest of all our guests, Oakbank operates a no-smoking and no-pets policy.
