Lane End Bed and Breakfast is a small, friendly guest house situated within a few minutes of Hebden Bridge town centre.
The property was originally a grocer's shop that was added to the pre-existing properties in 1901, serving the mill workers and independent weavers that were located in the immediate area.
Hebden Bridge has a rich industrial heritage, though in more recent years the town has become better known for its variety of unique shops selling anything from antiques and second hand books to cool fashion and bespoke arts and crafts.
Walkers will find abundant opportunities in the local area and the famous Pennine Way passes close to the town; other attractions lying within easy reach include, stunning Hardcastle Crags, Heptonstall, Haworth and the Calderdale Way.
There is also an ever growing network of bridleways and horse riding routes, to be found in the locality.
Upon your return to the accommodation, relax in the spacious communal area with widescreen Freeview TV, or enjoy a well earned drink in the Fox and Goose pub across the way.
The guest accommodation is located on the top floor and comprises of two bedrooms with private WC/shower facilities and a large sitting room with complimentary Wi-Fi Internet connection.
Other facilities incude microwave, fridge and beverage making facilities.
Guests also have the use of a small landscaped garden, with a river facing patio area.
Evening meal, afternoon tea and packed lunches available upon request.
Parking is restricted but by no means a problem.

| By Car: Hebden Bridge lies on the A646 between Burnley & Halifax. From Leeds take Exit 24 off the M62, then the A629 towards Halifax until picking up signs for A646. Once in Hebden Bridge continue through the town centre, past the Co-op and up the hill. Lane End is the last house before the bridge. From the Manchester direction: Take exit 21 off the M62, and follow signs for Hollingworth Lake, Take A58 towards Halifax, then take the B6138 left to Mytholmroyd and then the A646 left to Hebden Bridge. As you come in to Hebden Bridge, you will see the Fox and Goose pub immediately after the first set of traffic lights. You can park on the pavement just past the Heptonstall Road. Please note that this is for unloading purposes only. Guests can park their cars either in the car park at the beginning of the lane; guests will be given parking information upon arrival, however, parking is subject to availability, hence may not be close to the property. By Train: From Manchester, Leeds, Preston, Blackpool, Blackburn, Rochdale, Burnley, Accrington. Once at Hebden Bridge, exit via Station Road and cross over Station Bridge. Walk through the park which may be accessed via a path on the left hand side after the bridge. Continue walking through the park in the direction of the tennis courts. Pass the bowling green and children's play area and cross the canal. Walk along the tow path passing Hebble End Alternative Technology Centre, until you come to a second bridge. Before the bridge, leave the canal by turning right. Cross over the river and turn left at the main road (A646) and walk up the hill (Bridge Lanes). Lane End is the last house before the bridge.
