    Springfield Guest House offers premier bed and breakfast in Rothbury a beautiful village in the heart of Northumberland; just ten minutes drive from Alnwick and a further fifteen minutes to the coast.
    Springfield Guest House is a three storey Victorian town house dating back to 1860, so all of the rooms are very large.

    There are six large en suite rooms, all but one with bath and shower and double twin and family rooms, which sleep up to five persons.

    All of our rooms have a beautiful feature stone wall, displaying a lot of their original character.

    We have off street parking and a secure lock up for cycles.

    Springfield is located right in the centre of Rothbury; ideal for visiting the pubs cafes and shops and also a fantastic Italian restaurant just two minutes away.

    Rothbury is tucked away in the Coquet valley, with a beautiful river running through it providing a lovely walk on a nice day.

    We are just one mile from Cragside House and Gardens, run by the National Trust; this fantastic house, built by Lord Armstrong in the 1800s, was the first in the world to be lit by hydro electricity.

    Alnwick Castle and Gardens are a ten minute scenic drive away and well worth a visit.

    The Northumbrian coast is just a further fifteen minutes from Alnwick, where you can visit Bamburgh Castle, which was voted the second best view in Britain recently on TV.

    There is a lovely harbour at Seahouses, where you can take boat trips to the Farn Islands.

    We feel sure we can make your stay at Springfield a special one.
