    Rose Cottage is a Grade II listed building with all its original character features. It is beamed throughout with open fires. The cottage is over 180 years old and is an integral part of the village and the local history.

    Rose Cottage is located in the centre of the village just a short stroll away from the village shops and pubs. Goathland, better known as Aidensfield from ITV's Heartbeat, has many famous sites such as the Aidensfield Arms and Scripps Garage. Staying at the cottage you will be situated in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park where there are many wonderful walks and hiking routes all around you. If you prefer a more relaxing holiday outing then you can catch a train from Goathland Steam Railway Station and take an enjoyable and picturesque journey through the Moors.

    The Cottage accommodates 7 adults; it has three double bedrooms and one single room. All the double rooms have televisions. The Master room has an en suite shower and bathroom. The second double room has an en suite shower room. The final double room has an en suite Victorian bathroom with stand alone bath and shower facilities. This Victorian style bathroom can also be accessed by another door to be used as the family bathroom if needed for the single room. Each Room has tea and coffee making facilities.

    There is ample private parking and a fully enclosed garden.
    Pets are allowed and a travel cot and high chair are available for the children.
    WIFI access is available on request.

    We offer a Full English, Vegetarian or Continental breakfast. Rose Cottage feels like home to everyone that stays here, we hope you will enjoy staying here as much as we do.
