    Built in 1896 Kenilworth is a grand 4 star Victorian Guest House centrally located in the town of Windermere, only two minutes' walk from the local shops and cafes and not far from the railway station.

    However, under our ownership all of the rooms have been fully refurbished and redecorated.

    All rooms are centrally heated and double glazed, and all bedrooms are en-suite. We offer king-size double as well as double, twin, family (for three people) and single rooms. Bedrooms all have flat screen colour TV,(digital from Summer 2009, fluffy towels, refreshment tray, alarm clock, hairdryer and wineglasses. The single room also has a DVD player.

    Unusually we have retained our spacious ground floor guests' lounge with TV, DVD player,DVD's to borrow and guides and maps of the area to help plan your visit.

    Our hearty breakfasts are cooked to order use local produce, including locally made Cumberland sausage and free-range eggs. Vegetarian alternatives - all meat and non-meat products are cooked and served separately. In addition there is a selection of cereals to choose from, fruit juice, grapefruit and fresh toast, with a plentiful supply of tea, coffee or herbal infusions.

    We are non-smoking throughout and have some private off-road parking, and there is free parking on Holly Road as well.

    Minimum age for children is four years.

    An ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area of England- a warm welcome awaits!

    Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

    Price range for normal room occupancy is from £30.00 to £40.00 per person per night B&B.
    Under-occupancy or rates for children, please enquire by phone or email.
    We accept all major personal cards except American Express, but regret that due to increased bank charges, for bookings made after 18/1/09 there is a 2% surcharge for payments by credit card - no charge for debit cards/cash.
