    Kim and Linda Wood welcome you to The Gables, a comfortable five bedroom Edwardian Guest House. We are situated on the corner with West Avenue, just two minutes from the town centre and five minutes from the beach.

    All our rooms are en suite with central heating, colour television,
    hospitality tray and with a hair dryer. To lighten your load, we also supply towels, face flannels and a range of toiletries. Ironing and drying facilities are available on request.

    Our comprehensive breakfast menu ensures the perfect start to your day, catering to all dietary requirements including a full range of vegetarian items. Select from the cold buffet and then order from our itemised menu so you have just what you want to eat!

    Filey is an ideal base for touring, situated just 11 miles from
    Bridlington and 7 miles from Scarborough. A short drive north is the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay and the old whaling port of Whitby, the home of Captain Cook.

    Closer to home is the pituresque views of the bay from Filey Brigg or bird watching at Bempton.

    Filey is approximately half way between Bridlington and Scarborough on the A165. Follow signs for the town centre and golf club. Just before the one way system that takes you into the high street, turn right into West Avenue. The Gables is on the corner, two roads along, opposite the St Johns Church.
