Abonny Guest House is a family run establishment close to Stranraer town centre and is only 5 minutes drive from Stena Line Terminal, bus and train stations.
Your hosts Elizabeth and Jim, assure you of a warm welcome (day or night, late or early).
Breakfast is served from 7.30am until 9.00am. A large menu is available ranging from the full Scottish fry to a boiled egg.
We offer en-suite bedrooms and private bathrooms. Central heating, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, iron available, families welcome - cot available.
Pets by prior arrangement only.
Stranraer is a great centre for the serious walker and is surrounded by the Southern Upland Way. For those who enjoy a garden walk, there are three famous gardens in the area that are open to the public - Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan and Logan.
Children will love Agnew Park with its pedal boats, train rides, adventure playground and crazy golf.
West End and Stranraer Bowling Club are two bowling greens in the town where visitors are welcome and at Stair Park you can play tennis, watch a football match, or relax in the Gardens of Friendship. Play golf at Creachmore, an 18-hole golf course.
So, whether you are just looking to break your journey, or stay for a while, you are sure of a warm welcome at Abonny House.
