    Woodlea is situated at Nealhouse, midway between the historic City of Carlisle and the quiet market town of Wigton, just off the A595. It is within easy reach of Keswick and the Northern Lakes, Gretna Green and the Scottish Borders, and the Roman Wall. We are ideally placed for an overnight stop enroute between England and Scotland.

    Both the newly refurbished, twin and double bedrooms enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the Northern Fells, with a peaceful and tranquil, rural setting. The private bathroom offers both bath and shower facilities, clean soft towels and robes.

    The guest rooms are spacious, light and bright, with their own seating area, ample storage, T.V., and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a non-smoking policy throughout.

    Breakfast is served at a time of your choice, and we offer a full and traditional English breakfast or simply cereal, yoghurt, fruit, preserves and toast, whichever you prefer.

    There are five Pub/restaurants, offering traditional and portuguese cuisine, all within two miles of Woodlea.

    Secured lock-up storage for cycles/motor-bikes/equipment is available and there is ample off-road parking.
