Greendams is a traditional built granite farmhouse offering old style, charming country B&B in idyllic countryside surroundings, yet very near to the city of Aberdeen and its facilities.
We try to provide what we liked best on our own travels around the world. So your TV is in the guest lounge with its wood burning stove and not on a wall bracket in your room.
Coffee is on the AGA in the farmhouse kitchen and not on a flimsy tray on your bedside table.
During breakfast you can watch our local wildlife (roe deer, pheasant) as well as our own ducks, geese and Ludwig and his flock which provided your breakfast eggs.
In the evening you may join us at the house table for dinner (by prior arrangement) to enjoy Gabi's reputedly excellent home cooked meals - Scottish as well as International. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
We are able to point you in the direction of a wide variety of activities such as;
Fishing, shooting, golfing, motorbike and car tours, walks, distillery and castle visits and much more.
Spectacular cliffs and sandy beaches (cold water though) are only 15 minutes away.
A number of good restaurants are within a few miles.
There is ample secure parking available, under cover for bikes.
Once you reach the end of our half mile farm lane, you are away from it all.
This is traditional country living at its best, coupled with the conveniences of modern living and easy commuter access.
Greendams is located on the outskirts of the village of Newmachar in the northeast of Scotland.
5 miles from Aberdeen Airport.
8 miles from Aberdeen City.
8 miles from Aberdeen Exhibition Center.
You tell us what you want or need and we'll do our best to provide it.
