    Clifton House dates from 1580 and provides Boutique B&B accommodation just 7 miles from Bath and it is a perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds, Badminton, Longleat, Stonehenge, Thermal Spa, Roman Baths and the many National Trust properties and gardens in the area.

    Enjoy our delicious breakfast each morning: we use local farm eggs and we cook to order..... English muffins, waffles with maple syrup and full English.

    Badminton Horse Trials, held annually 30 minutes drive.

    All rooms are well equipped and furnished to a high standard. We provide tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities plus cookies, bottled water.

    You can walk to the superb shops, boutiques and vast array of restaurants and pubs serving top quality food - this area is renowned for its eclectic mix of venues and is popular with visitors and locals alike.

    There is a train station within walking distance, bus stop outside (buses run to Bath every 30 minutes) making Bath, London and other connections easy. Free off street parking.

    Directions
    From M4, junction 16. Take A46 Bath. Continue straight approx four miles. At the first roundabout, continue on A46 signed Bath and this road shortly becomes a dual carriageway, taking you another 3 miles. Continue (do not take the Bath turn off) until the carriageway actually terminates at a roundabout and take the right turn B363 Bradford on Avon. Continue approx 4 miles until you enter the outskirts of the town. At the first mini roundabout, go straight on. Almost immediately, there is a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights and Clifton House is immediately before this, and the church, on the left hand side.
