Experience a relaxed country holiday in our Grade II Listed Welsh farmstead. We keep rarebreed sheep, free range chickens (plus James the goat) and specialise in the fabled Akhal Teke horses from Turkmenistan. We have one or two foals born each year.
Farmhouse breakfasts, an AGA in the breakfast room and a woodburning stove if the weather is chilly all add to the welcome.
Our private trout pond is well stocked with rainbow trout and there is plenty of other fishing nearby. Stabling and grazing are available if guests want to bring their horses and there is a trekking centre across the valley.
Several National Trust properties are within easy reach, including the Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mines. For garden enthusiasts there are the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens (the Gardens Lost in Time).
We are in easy reach of Llandovery, Lampeter, Llandeilo and Carmarthen, all known for their markets and antique shops. Also a pleasant drive from Brecon Beacons, the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Coasts. Something for everyone, whatever your age.
